Sunday, September 9, 2012 the annual Pedal for Seniors campaign will take place. This is not just any bike ride! You’ve seen a bicycle built for two, but have you ever seen a bicycle built for 32? The 32 passenger bicycle will travel a 10Km circuit through Cote St Luc to raise funds for the S.M.A.R.T. Healthy Aging Center as well as the B’nai Brith House Therapeutic recreation program.
At 9:00am, riders will meet at Bnai BrIth House for a champagne toast. The event will get underway at 10:00 am. The bicycle will travel with fanfare: north on Westminister, West on on Mackle, South on Cavendish and West on Cote St Luc Rd: returning to Bnai Brith House Terrace on the park where riders, supporters and friends will enjoy a Bar B Q Lunch.
We invite you to support the Pedal for Seniors campaign. Designate a rider in your company’s name at a minimum donation of $2000.00 per rider. Or, sponsor a B’nai Brith House rider. Charitable donation receipts will be issued for amounts over $ 36.00. Help create opportunities for more seniors in our community to benefit from programs that target Health Mobility and above all a Quality of Life.
Join us for a fun filled day! For more information on how to become a rider or to sponsor a rider please contact:
